Active Members Can:
Vote at the Annual General Meeting to elect executives to the Belmont Academy Alumni Association.
Join select committees to assist with furthering the Association’s mission (e.g., 1. Membership & Outreach Committee; 2. Welfare & Mission Partnership Committee; etc.)
Invitations to exclusive events, reunions, and networking
Become eligible to hold elected office within the Association

Your first step toward full BAA membership. This complimentary status is assigned to allow you to learn more about our membership process and submit your registration form. It remains active while your application is under review. Once approved, you will be prompted to complete your dues payment to unlock full Active Membership benefits. There is no fee associated with this status.

Membership is open to all former students of Belmont Academy who attended the Academy for at least one year, regardless of whether you completed your studies or graduated from there.

Membership is a simple three step process. Complete your registration form, familiarise yourself with our Constitution and Bylaws, and pay your membership dues. Once your application has been reviewed and approved by our Membership Committee, you will receive an invitation to complete your payment and activate your membership.

There is no fee to submit your registration. However, please note that Prospective Membership is simply the first step in the process — it does not confer Active Member status or benefits. A membership fee is required to become a full Active Member of the BAAA. Once you have registered, you will be able to view the full details of our membership plans, associated fees, and next steps directly within your Prospective Member dashboard/hub.

We aim to review all applications within 5 to 10 business days. You will be contacted via the email address or telephone number provided on your registration form with an update on your application status.

Yes. Graduation is not a requirement for membership. If you attended Belmont Academy for at least one year during your academic journey, you are eligible to apply.

A Prospective Member is someone whose registration form has been submitted and is currently under review. Active Membership is conferred upon approval of your application and confirmation of your dues payment. Only Active Members have access to full member benefits, including voting rights at the AGM.

Membership dues can be paid securely through our website in USD or via Bank Transfer in JMD. We accept all major credit and debit cards. You may choose between a three month, six month or annual membership plan.

In the event that your application is not approved, you will be contacted by the Membership Committee with an explanation.

Absolutely. We welcome support from all friends and allies of Belmont Academy. If you are not yet ready to commit to full membership, you can still support the BAA by attending our public events, sharing our initiatives within your network, and making a donation to support our programmes and activities.
