With alumni spanning multiple graduating classes and residing across communities locally and internationally, the Belmont Academy Alumni Association cultivates lifelong connections to our high school and to one another.
Through reunions, mentorship, service initiatives, and special events, we create meaningful opportunities for continued engagement, pride, and partnership within the Belmont family.
The governing body of the Belmont Academy Alumni Association, the Alumni Council actively engages graduates in the life of the school in ways that are meaningful, collaborative, and mutually beneficial to both the alumni community and Belmont Academy.
Belmont Academy Alumni Council
The Belmont Academy Alumni Council serves as the guiding body of our alumni community, led by an Executive Committee dedicated to strengthening connections among graduates and advancing initiatives that support our alma mater. The Council works collaboratively through committees that plan reunions, mentorship programs, fundraising efforts, and engagement activities designed specifically for Belmont Academy alumni.
Council membership includes representatives from various graduating classes, regional alumni chapters, and appointed members who bring leadership experience and a passion for service. Former Council Chairs and distinguished past leaders may also serve in honorary capacities, ensuring continuity, tradition, and the preservation of Belmont Academy’s proud legacy.

Recent News & Updates
After Hurricane Melissa
When Category 5 Hurricane Melissa passed through western Jamaica in October 2025, it left more than physical damage… it disrupted a place of learning, growth, and hope at Belmont Academy. Classrooms were damaged, resources were lost, and students returned to a school struggling to function under difficult conditions.
Yet, even in the aftermath, the spirit of Belmont remained strong. Teachers showed up. Students persevered. And the community refused to let the storm define their future.
Today, recovery continues, but so does our mission.
